A bright golden-yellow brew presenting excellent clarity and a luminous sheen in the glass. The white head sits firm and composed, displaying fine Schaumkleiden down the sides as the beer settles. Carbonation appears refined and measured, befitting a traditional lager of this character.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with soft, honeyed pale Malz notes that suggest bread crust and subtle cereal character. A delicate floral Edelhopfen note threads through the background, adding dimension without asserting dominance. The overall bouquet is warm and inviting, marked by a gentle malt sweetness rather than any sharp or aggressive top notes.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens soft and rounded, with a malt-driven sweetness that never becomes cloying or heavy. The body is surprisingly restrained for a Bock—lighter and more refined than many strong beers in the category—allowing the honeyed Malz character to remain elegant and clear. A gentle, measured bitterness emerges mid-palate as a welcome counterpoint, providing balance and structure without overwhelming the gentler malt profile.

The finish is clean and composed, with a warming touch of alcohol emerging as the beer settles. No harsh edges or cloying aftertaste—instead, a lingering malt mellowness and a subtle, pleasant warmth on the throat.
