◎ Aussehen

Islander pours a clear, deep golden to light copper with excellent clarity. A white head forms with good retention and fine lacing on the glass. The carbonation is evident but restrained, allowing the colour to display cleanly.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with assertive pine and resinous notes from the Centennial, Chinook and Columbus hops. Beneath the evergreen character lie ripe stone fruits—apricot and mango—with bright grapefruit citrus adding complexity. A subtle bready Malz character grounds the composition without dominating.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens with a firm, bready Malz base that provides structure and sweetness. Tropical fruit—mango and apricot—emerges in the mid-palate, balanced against a steady, pine-forward bitterness. The 65 IBU delivers a dry, resinous quality that integrates cleanly with the fruit rather than overwhelming it.

◑ Abgang

The finish is dry and lingering, with resinous bitterness persisting after the citrus and fruit notes fade. A clean, mineral aftertaste closes the experience without harshness.
