Gulp Rat

Tap to rate

Gulp Rat is a hazy New England IPA brewed with extra pale malt, oats and rye and hopped with Cascade and Columbus. Unusually for the style, the brewery points to dark fruit rather than tropical notes: subtle plum and hedgerow berries such as blackberry. Around that sit grapefruit and a resinous, slightly peppery edge from the hops and the rye. The oats keep the body soft and smooth, and the bitterness is a little firmer than in the other hazy beers of the range. It was added in November 2025.
