◎ Appearance

Magnetic Bines presents a clear, deep golden amber body with excellent transparency. A bright white head forms readily and lingers with deliberate persistence, laying fine sheets of lacing against the glass as the beer is consumed. Carbonation is bright and visible, lending vitality to the pour.

◌ Aroma

The nose is boldly American in expression, leading with resinous pine and dank hop oils that command immediate attention. Grapefruit pith and dried citrus zest emerge alongside subtle notes of tropical fruit, grounded by a firm, clean malt backbone that prevents the hops from overwhelming. The overall impression is assertive yet balanced, speaking to both the hop character and careful malting.

◐ Taste

Entry is crisp and welcoming, with a biscuity caramel malt sweetness that immediately anchors the palate. The mid-palate surges with citrus zest and assertive resinous hop bitterness, driving through with full body and sustained intensity. Bitterness is prominent but not harsh, supported by the underlying malt structure that prevents any one-dimensional character.

◑ Finish

The finish is long, dry, and satisfyingly bitter, lingering on the palate with persistent resinous and citric notes. The beer exits clean without cloying sweetness, affirming its West Coast lineage through confident hop-forward character.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
