◎ Appearance

Cyclops presents a bright, hazy golden straw colour with excellent clarity despite the intentional cloudiness. A soft, pillowy white head forms on the pour and lingers persistently, laying down fine lacing as the beer is consumed. The carbonation is lively, evident in the gentle effervescence and the sustained foam collar.

◌ Aroma

The nose is immediately expressive and welcoming, dominated by fresh citrus zest and ripe tropical stone fruit notes. A gentle floral lift characteristic of modern British noble hops emerges in the background, accompanied by a delicate herbal suggestion. The malt base remains understated, providing a clean, barely perceptible bready undertone that does not compete with the hop aromatics.

◐ Taste

Entry is light-bodied yet satisfyingly rounded, with juicy peach and lemon flavours taking centre stage on the mid-palate. A whisper of pine resin sits beneath these fruit notes, while a clean, biscuity malt foundation provides balance and structure. The bitterness is restrained and approachable, never aggressive, allowing the fruit and floral characters to remain in focus throughout.

◑ Finish

The finish is crisp and refreshing, with a pleasant dry, hoppy fade that lingers without harshness. This gentle bitterness encourages immediate return to the glass, making the beer highly sessionable.

Cold enough to sharpen the hop aroma without numbing the palate. Around 7–9°C keeps the citrus and pine vivid without losing bitterness definition.
