Bons Vœux presents a bright golden hue with excellent clarity and a fine, persistent white head that clings to the glass with good lacing. Carbonation is lively and well-integrated, creating a delicate mousse that sustains throughout the tasting.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with pronounced ripe banana and stone fruit esters, followed by citrus notes of orange and lemon that interplay with subtle clove spice. Beneath these fruity and phenolic layers lies a sophisticated undertone of toasted hazelnut and light grain complexity, with delicate herbal and floral notes from dry hopping that add further dimension.

◐ Taste

The palate is full-bodied and layered, with the initial sweetness giving way to a complex malt core of toasted hazelnut and light cereal notes. Moderate bitterness from noble hops provides balance without overwhelming the fruit-driven character, while the dry hopping introduces additional herbal complexity that evolves across the mid-palate.

◑ Finish

The finish is notably dry and lingering, with the alcohol warmth providing gentle support to the fading citrus and spice notes. A subtle hazelnut and herbaceous dryness persists in the aftertaste.

Warmer than most — 12–14°C. The fruity esters, spice and warming alcohol need room to breathe.

The wide mouth and heavy base promote head formation and channel rich aromatics toward the nose. Traditional for Belgian strong ales.
