🌍 Belgium · Witbier · One of 77 Witbiers in hopIQ

Blanche du Hainaut joined the Dupont range in 1999 as an organic white beer. It is brewed from a blend of organic wheat and barley malt, and coriander and orange peel go into the boiling wort alongside the hops. The opalescent beer opens with a flowery nose reminiscent of freesia, followed by gentle spice and orange. The palate shows little bitterness, and a slight tartness with a soft, light body makes it very refreshing.

Serve & Enjoy

How to get the most out of Blanche du Hainaut

Serve at 5–8°C
Refrigerate, then rest 2 min

Serve cold to preserve the delicate citrus and spice aromas. Too warm and the yeast esters become heavy — too cold and the coriander disappears.

Witbier glass
Recommended for this style

The tall, slender wheat beer glass holds the full 50cl pour and shows off the hazy golden colour. The wide mouth lets citrus and spice aromas drift upward freely.

Best consumed fresh. Citrus and spice notes fade after 3–4 months. Drink within 6 months of packaging.
