◎ Appearance

Pale golden hue with excellent clarity and a fine, persistent white head. The carbonation is lively, evident in the steady stream of small bubbles rising through the glass. Strong lacing clings to the glass walls throughout the drink.

◌ Aroma

Opens with prominent clove and vanilla notes characteristic of Belgian yeast fermentation, immediately warming and inviting. Fresh banana esters weave through the mid-nose, adding fruity complexity without overwhelming the malt base. A subtle noble hop presence provides herbal balance beneath the spice.

◐ Taste

The palate develops with rich, slightly sweet maltiness that frames the clove and vanilla notes from the nose. Mid-palate brings soft banana notes and a gentle warming from the alcohol. The finish pivots sharply toward assertive spicy hop bitterness that extends well into the aftertaste, countering the beer's natural sweetness with dry persistence.

◑ Finish

The spicy hop bite carries long and dry, slowly fading over several minutes without harshness. The high alcohol content rounds warmly rather than burning, leaving a lingering herbal-spice character.

Warmer than most — 12–14°C. The fruity esters, spice and warming alcohol need room to breathe.

The wide mouth and heavy base promote head formation and channel rich aromatics toward the nose. Traditional for Belgian strong ales.
