◎ Aussehen

Deep amber to light copper in color, with a fine-grained head that settles into delicate lacing on the glass. The beer shows bright clarity with excellent head retention, and modest carbonation creates a soft, creamy visual presence characteristic of the Belgian tradition.

◌ Aroma

Sweet dried-fruit notes dominate the nose, with prominent sultana raisin and fig character. A subtle roasted carob undertone emerges beneath the fruit, accompanied by light caramel and malt backbone. The overall profile is warm and enveloping, without aggressive hop character or fermentation esters.

◐ Geschmack

Entry is immediately sweet with rich dried-fruit complexity from the Pantelleria raisins balancing against a distinctive bitter-chocolate note from toasted carob. Mid-palate shows fullness and body, with caramel and malty undertones integrating smoothly. Bitterness emerges gradually and carries through without harshness, finishing with a subtle spicy warmth from the adjuncts.

◑ Abgang

Moderately long, clean finish with the carob bitterness lingering gently on the palate. The dried-fruit sweetness fades gradually, leaving a warming spice and light chocolate aftertaste.
