Dark reddish-brown colour, characteristic of the Bock style, with good clarity and a fine, persistent head. The lager settles with tight carbonation and displays elegant lacing on the glass as it is consumed.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with toasted bread and toffee from the Munich and Caramunich malts, followed by subtle dried fruit notes. A whisper of cocoa from the Carafa Special adds depth without harshness, while the single Saaz addition contributes a gentle herbal character that remains restrained and supportive rather than prominent.

◐ Geschmack

Malt dominates the palate with a warm, rounded sweetness and notes of caramel and dark fruit. The Saaz hops provide minimal bitterness, allowing the cocoa undertone to emerge in the mid-palate without becoming sharp or astringent. The 6.7% ABV lends gentle warmth and body without aggressive alcohol burn.

The finish is sweetish and lingering, with toasted and slightly boozy notes that warm the back of the throat. The aftertaste remains smooth and rounded, encouraging slow contemplation rather than rapid consumption.
