A clear dark amber pour with excellent clarity and a dense, tan head that recedes to a persistent collar. The foam exhibits fine Schaumhaftung, clinging evenly to the glass walls. Carbonation is moderate and well-integrated, lending the beer a refined presence without aggressive effervescence.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with warm biscuit and toffee notes from the Maris Otter and crystal malts, layered with subtle dried fruit character. East Kent Goldings introduces a pronounced herbal and earthy quality, while the Most variety contributes bright red berry and bubblegum impressions that feel lifted by the fruity London yeast. The overall aromatic profile is balanced and inviting, neither aggressive nor muted.

◐ Geschmack

The palate leads with soft, malty sweetness—biscuit and toffee dominate the entry, with caramel and dark fruit notes providing depth throughout the mid-palate. The hop character emerges as herbal and earthy, complemented by subtle berry and bubblegum undertones. Bitterness is restrained and supportive rather than assertive, creating a well-proportioned finish to the flavour arc.

The finish is dry and moderately short, with lingering biscuit and a gentle herbal dryness on the palate. No harsh edges or lingering sweetness—the beer fades cleanly, inviting another sip.
