Fire Glow presents a very dark brown body that approaches black in the glass, with excellent clarity and a fine, persistent head. The deep color derives from the layered malts—Pilsner as the base, with Munich, Caramunich, and Carafa Special building depth and complexity. Carbonation is crisp, evidenced by steady fine bubbles that support good lacing on the glass.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with restrained but distinct coffee and roast notes that remain in the background, never becoming astringent. Bread crust and caramel sweetness form the aromatic center, supported by Saaz hops that introduce a spicy, herbal character without overshadowing the malt profile. The overall impression is balanced—roast and malt in conversation rather than competition.

The palate leads with a dry, clean entry where the caramel and bread notes settle across the middle. Saaz hops deliver a restrained spicy and herbal bite that cuts through the residual malt sweetness, while the roasted character remains subtle and integrated. The body is medium and refreshing, with no harsh edges or lingering bitterness despite the 22 IBU and dark color.

The finish is dry and quick, with the roasted notes fading rapidly and the hop character receding into a gentle herbal echo. Clean, crisp carbonation carries the beer to a refreshing close, leaving no astringency or sticky sweetness.
