Kerbside Prophet presents a pale golden hue with a pronounced and persistent haze throughout the glass. The dense, creamy head forms immediately and clings to the glass with fine retention, leaving a delicate network of lacing with each sip. Fine carbonation animates the body, creating a soft, pillowy visual presence.

◌ Aroma

The nose is immediately dominated by ripe tropical stone fruits—mango and lychee leap forward with vibrant clarity. Bright citrus notes of lime and passionfruit weave through the mid-range, while a subtle diesel-like quality characteristic of Rakau and Riwaka adds depth and intrigue. The aromatic profile remains clean and hop-forward, with the soft grain base (oats, spelt, triticale) providing only a whisper of sweetness in the background.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens juicy and fruit-forward, with tropical flavours and lime leading the charge. Mid-palate sweetness emerges briefly before the characteristic diesel-like note from the New Zealand hop blend asserts itself, lending a peppery, slightly vegetal complexity. A light herbal edge arrives in the finish, while the soft malt backbone keeps bitterness restrained at a moderate level, allowing the hop aromatics to remain the dominant voice throughout.

The finish is clean and medium in length, with the herbal and citrus notes gradually fading while the subtle sweetness lingers briefly. A dry, refreshing aftertaste emerges, leaving the palate ready for the next sip without any heavy or cloying residue.
