Never Better pours a slightly hazy golden orange, catching the light with a warm, inviting glow. An off-white head sits atop the beer with moderate retention, gradually receding to leave a thin collar of foam. The slight haze speaks to the unfiltered character typical of the Double IPA style.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with pronounced tropical fruit—mango and passion fruit dominate, supported by notes of pineapple, guava, and bright orange zest. Beneath these stone fruits lies a layer of resinous pine, grounding the aromatic profile with herbal depth. The Vic Secret, Mosaic, and Citra hop blend creates a cohesive, fruit-forward character.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens with a full body supported by a caramel malt base that introduces subtle sweetness and a bready, grainy core. The hops integrate seamlessly, amplifying the tropical aromatics while maintaining balance. The mid-palate sustains the malt's presence before transitioning toward a woody, bitter finish.

The finish turns decisively woody and bitter, with grapefruit pith and lingering pine resin persisting on the palate. The bitterness is clean and well-integrated, fading gradually rather than abruptly.
