◎ Aussehen

Deep brown to black in color with excellent clarity. The dense, creamy head forms a tight cap and clings persistently to the glass walls, a signature result of nitrogen carbonation. The beer presents as polished and composed, with a velvety sheen that speaks to its careful conditioning.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with roasted malts—a clean, assertive coffee character balanced by dark chocolate and subtle bread-crust notes. Bitterness is present but restrained, derived entirely from the roast rather than hop aromatics. The overall impression is dry and malt-forward, with no sweetness or fruity esters intruding.

◐ Geschmack

Entry is lean and crisp, with roasted character taking center stage. Coffee and chocolate dominate the mid-palate, layered over a smooth, creamy body that belies the beer's modest 5% ABV. Bitterness arrives from the roast profile and persists gently; hop bitterness is absent. The palate remains dry throughout, never cloying.

The finish is toasty and clean, closing with a gentle drying quality and a whisper of dark-grain aftertaste. No lingering sweetness or heat—the beer retreats gracefully, leaving the mouth refreshed rather than coated.

Etwas wärmer als erwartet. 10–13°C lässt die gerösteten Malz-, Schokoladen- und Kaffeenoten vollständig entfalten.
