◎ Aussehen

Pours a deep crimson that catches the light with warmth and depth. The colour derives primarily from a single German red malt that dominates the grist, giving the beer a distinct reddish-brown character. Head retention is firm, with good adhesion to the glass.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with resinous, herbaceous hop character from four American varieties, backed by tropical stone fruit and red berry notes that sit atop a subtle foundation of toffee and dark fruit from the malt bill. The overall impression is hop-forward yet balanced, without the malt being masked.

◐ Geschmack

Entry is clean and assertive, with zesty grapefruit and tropical fruit riding a firm, resinous bitterness across the palate. The malt provides chewy toffee and dark fruit that anchor the finish, preventing the beer from thinning under the hopping intensity. The interplay between bitter oils and sweet malt persistence gives this Red IPA its structure and length.

The bitterness extends into a dry, lingering finish with residual pine and herb notes. Malt sweetness fades gradually, leaving a balanced aftertaste that favours the hop character without becoming harsh.
