Britpop presents a warm amber hue with a light, translucent body and fine carbonation. The head forms with modest retention, settling into a thin collar that clings gently to the glass. Clarity is good, with a bright, inviting appearance characteristic of the English IPA style.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with bright citrus and pine notes from American hop varieties, layered beneath a gentle orchard fruitiness. Beneath these lies a pronounced marmalade character from First Gold, with subtle spice and blackcurrant undertones from Jester. The English ale yeast adds a soft, slightly fruity complexity that prevents the hop character from becoming sharp, while traditional British malts contribute a biscuity undertone.

◐ Geschmack

Entry is smooth and malty, with the biscuit backbone establishing immediate structure. Mid-palate develops stone fruit and tropical notes from the American and English hop blend, while marmalade and subtle lychee spice emerge without overwhelming the palate. Bitterness remains restrained and refined, allowing the malt sweetness and fruit layers to remain in balance throughout.

◑ Abgang

The finish is clean and moderately dry, with lingering citrus and a gentle spice fade. Aftertaste remains fruit-forward without becoming sticky, leaving a light, pleasant resinous note.
