◎ Aussehen

Deep amber-red hue with a translucent quality and minimal head retention. The beer presents a bright, clear body with fine carbonation evident in the glass. Three years of bottle conditioning have yielded a refined, wine-like presentation.

◌ Aroma

The nose combines dried orange peel and marmalade notes with underlying dark stone fruits and caramel sweetness. Herbal Willamette hop character emerges beneath, lending a subtle earthiness. The extended maturation adds vinous complexity and a gentle warming alcohol presence.

◐ Geschmack

Entry reveals caramel and toasted malt sweetness that quickly yields to a firm herbal bitterness. Mid-palate develops marmalade and orange character alongside dark fruit notes, with spice notes threading through. The 8% ABV provides warming alcohol structure without heat; the palate finishes notably dry and mineral-forward rather than sweet.

Long, dry finish with persistent herbal and bitter notes lingering on the palate. The vinous character from bottle age creates a wine-like dryness that extends the aftertaste.
