Hahn Brewing
Founded in 1987 by master brewer Charles "Chuck" Hahn in a converted factory at Camperdown in inner Sydney, Hahn started out as what was then the largest microbrewery in Australia and made its name with premium pale lagers. Lion took the business over in 1993 and moved production to a sister plant at Auburn in the city's west, while the original Camperdown site carried on under a different name. Since the mid-2000s the range has narrowed to lagers built around an unusually long fermentation.
