Award winningKnown for a full range of styles

Young Henrys started in 2012, when Oscar McMahon and Richard Adamson set up a small brewery behind a roller door in the backstreets of Newtown, Sydney, after the local council knocked back their first site in Surry Hills. The flagship Newtowner was brewed as a gift for the 150th birthday of the 2042 postcode. The brewery is still independent and Australian-owned, runs a 33 kW solar array and algae bioreactors developed with UTS to capture its own carbon dioxide, and holds B Corp certification. The Wilford Street site combines production, a bar and weekend tours.
