Burnt Mill Brewery
Burnt Mill Brewery was set up by Charles O'Reilly in a former dairy and grain building on a farm at Badley, between Needham Market and Stowmarket in Suffolk; the company dates from 2016, the first beers reached the trade in July 2017. Sophie de Ronde has been head brewer since 2017. The brewery sells keg and cans only, all vegan, and is known for bright West Coast pales and IPAs alongside hazy 'Fog' beers. A small year-round core range sits next to a steady run of one-off releases and barrel-aged mixed-fermentation sours.

How we measure this
Two thresholds are at work here:
- The signature list shows notes that recur in at least 6% of this brewery's beers. A low bar — enough to flag a pattern, not high enough to call it an exclusive trait.
- The peer comparison below shows only notes where this brewery's coverage differs from similar breweries by at least 20 percentage points. A higher bar — enough to call a real difference, not a nudge.
A note can appear on the signature list without appearing in the peer comparison: it recurs here, but similar breweries do the same thing.
Big Sur Moon
Their beers place in the Top 55% of the catalogue on average, across 8 ranked beers. One clear standout well ahead of the rest.
