Little Green

Tap to rate

Little Green is a double dry-hopped West Coast pale ale, brewed since 2023 and part of the core range. Unlike the brewery's leaner pales it has a full, rich malt bill: dextrin, Munich and caramel malts give plenty of body for its strength and a light caramel sweetness. Citra and Columbus are used in the whirlpool, Citra, Mosaic, Columbus and Chinook in the dry hop. The brewery describes dank, piney and tropical fruit character.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with a resinous, piney quality from Columbus and Chinook, backed by bright tropical fruit notes—mango and citrus—from the Citra and Mosaic dry hop. A subtle caramel sweetness emerges beneath, grounded by the Munich and dextrin malts, without overwhelming the hop-forward character.

◐ Taste

The palate opens soft and rounded, with a full body that belies the modest 4.2% ABV, courtesy of the rich malt bill. Caramel and light breadiness build in the mid-palate, allowing the dry-hop bitterness—clean, herbal, and moderately assertive at 38 IBU—to layer in without harshness. The finish is dry and composed.
