Brauerei Frastanz is a brewing cooperative in the Vorarlberg market town of Frastanz, founded on 22 July 1902 by 35 local innkeepers who wanted to stay independent of the large breweries. Membership has been open to the public since 2016, and the cooperative now counts close to 4,000 members. Beer is brewed in a listed brewhouse, fermented in open vessels and bottled cold without heat treatment, using water from its own spring in the Drei Schwestern area. Most of the range is certified organic.
