◎ Appearance

Frastanzer Gold presents a deep yellow-gold hue that catches the light with clarity and vibrancy. A white, substantial head forms on the pour and persists with fine Schaumkleiden along the glass walls, indicative of good protein and carbonation balance. The body shows brightness without haze, characteristic of a well-executed Dortmunder Export.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with soft honey and delicate floral blossom notes that unfold gradually. Orange peel and hay-like noble hop character emerge in the mid-aroma, creating a balanced and inviting profile. The malt contributes a subtle biscuit undertone that complements rather than dominates the aromatic presentation.

◐ Taste

Entry is smooth and full-bodied, with white bread and malt sweetness establishing themselves immediately on the palate. The mid-palate carries the Malz character with a growing hop bitterness that integrates seamlessly into the overall flavor structure. Bitterness persists into the finish without sharpness, balancing the 5.5% alcohol and fuller body with crisp, clean edges.

The finish is dry and moderately long, with hop bitterness lingering pleasantly on the palate without astringency. The aftertaste carries faint honey and grain notes, leaving a clean, refreshing impression.
