◎ Appearance

Chillwave presents a slightly hazy copper hue that catches light with gentle warmth. The haziness derives from the hop profile and yeast rather than any fault, lending the beer a rustic, approachable character. Head retention is firm, with a dense collar of white foam that clings to the glass.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with bright stone fruit — mango and passion fruit — followed by candied orange peel. Pine resin and an earthy undertone ground the composition, preventing the fruit from becoming cloying. The overall impression is balanced and inviting, with no single note dominating.

◐ Taste

Entry brings the promised honeyed sweetness from the Caramel 45 and honey malt, creating a soft, rounded platform. Mid-palate develops the hop character — citrus and stone fruit — while the 80 IBU bitterness asserts itself with a firm, lingering grip. The alcohol (9% ABV) manifests as gentle warmth rather than harsh heat, integrating cleanly into the overall structure.

◑ Finish

The finish extends with a dry, resinous bitterness that holds the palate without fatigue. Warmth and a faint herbal echo linger as the beer fades.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
