◎ Appearance

A hazy golden brew that glows warmly in the glass, bearing the characteristic cloudiness of a well-executed New England IPA. The turbidity comes through the hefe, lending visual softness without appearing under-finished. Head retention is moderate and creamy, with gentle carbonation that supports rather than dominates.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with bright citrus—navel orange and white peach—followed by stone fruit and a subtle tropical melon note. Honeydew melon and cape gooseberry develop in the mid-range, layered beneath a restrained herbal dank that anchors the profile without overshadowing the fruit-forward character. Hop-derived esters dominate the aromatics; malt presence is delicate and recessive.

◐ Taste

Entry is clean and juicy, delivering pineapple and stone fruit without harshness. The mid-palate remains soft and pillowy, with the fruit notes from the nose carrying through—cape gooseberry, honeydew—while subtle dank character emerges as bitterness. The 45 IBU sits gently in the background; this is a hop-forward beer shaped by aroma and texture rather than resinous bite.

◑ Finish

The finish is dry and clean, with the herbal and fruit notes fading evenly. Aftertaste lingers briefly with a gentle dank whisper and residual tropical sweetness, leaving no harsh edges or astringency.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
