Fiddlehead Mastermind presents a beautiful straw-colored body with a tropical glow and inviting hazy character. The haziness indicates a modern dry-hop approach with suspended particles creating excellent visual appeal. Expect solid carbonation with a pillowy, persistent head.

◌ Aroma

The nose is dominated by bright tropical fruit esters—pineapple and cantaloupe leap from the glass with remarkable clarity. Secondary hop character reveals pine resin and grapefruit citrus notes that layer beautifully beneath the fruit-forward profile. A clean, malt-neutral backbone allows the hops to shine without competing aromatic elements.

◐ Taste

The palate opens with juicy tropical fruit sweetness that transitions to assertive hop bitterness mid-drink. Bold resinous pine and citrus character builds toward a pronounced 80 IBU bitterness that's well-integrated rather than harsh. Slight tartness adds complexity and prevents the beer from becoming one-dimensional, while the 8.1% ABV remains well-hidden.

The finish is notably clean and dry, with lingering pine and citrus bitterness that fades gracefully without astringency. Residual resinous hop character persists pleasantly on the palate without overstaying its welcome.
