Double Irish
Double Irish is the stronger sibling of Full Irish: more hops and 7% ABV, built on pale ale malt with Carapils and wheat. Loral, Cascade, Simcoe, Citra and Amarillo go into the kettle, Simcoe and Chinook into the dry hop. Solid gold with a firm white head, it opens with passion fruit, then sweet stone fruit and a spicy note. Upfront bitterness gives way to a juicy middle with tart apricot, and it finishes on grapefruit and pine with a full mouthfeel.
