Dolcita

Tap to rate

Dolcita is named after the newly released hop variety it showcases, used alongside Citra on Irish pale ale malt. Light tangerine in colour with a white head, it smells of pineapple and sweet, ripe peach. The palate reads like a tropical fruit salad: pineapple, juicy peach and sweet melon, moving to a bright citrus close. Stone fruit and a creamy caramel note come from the hop itself. The aftertaste is bitter tangerine.

Serve well-chilled. Session IPAs are at their best cold — the lower ABV means less warmth to balance the hops.

Tulip glass

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.

Drink fresh. Session IPAs are brewed to be consumed young — the hops are at their best now.
