◎ Appearance

Double Actuator presents a bright golden-amber hue with exceptional clarity and transparency. The beer develops a substantial, creamy head that persists well, leaving distinct lacing around the glass as the level drops. Carbonation is brisk and well-integrated, contributing to the crisp visual presentation.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with prominent soft pine and resinous Edelhopfen character, grounded by bright citrus notes from the Citra addition. Stone fruit aromatics emerge beneath—blueberry and subtle stone fruit esters develop with time in the glass. Herbal and slightly floral undertones complement the overall hoppy profile without any evident alcohol heat.

◐ Taste

The palate entry is crisp and assertive, with citrus and pine leading immediately into tropical stone fruit—mango, papaya, and blueberry develop in the mid-palate despite the absence of fruit additions. A firm, well-structured bitterness arrives and persists throughout, holding the subtle malt sweetness and moderate alcohol warmth in perfect equilibrium. The body sits medium and clean, allowing hop intensity to dominate.

◑ Finish

The finish is long and dry, with the bitterness extending through the aftertaste while the fruit character gradually fades. A slight warming sensation from the 8.5% ABV lingers pleasantly without any harshness.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
