◎ Appearance

Bake & Break presents itself in a light honey gold, clean and bright beneath the surface. The head builds with moderate density and clings to the glass with persistent lacing. Carbonation appears lively and well-integrated, suggesting a crisp, refreshing structure despite the beer's considerable strength.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with a layered tropical profile—pineapple and stone fruit forward, with distinct blueberry and peach notes winding through. Beneath the fruit sits a candied bubblegum sweetness, grounded by a piney Edelhopfen edge and a subtle bread-crust grain character that prevents the aromatics from veering too soft.

◐ Taste

Entry is soft and welcoming, with tropical and citrus flavors developing early across the palate. The mid-palate sustains the fruitiness—peach and berry notes remain prominent—while the piney bitterness and grain-forward backbone emerge to provide structure and grip. Despite the double IPA's weight, the beer drinks with notable ease, the bitterness remaining modest and never assertive.

◑ Finish

The finish is dry and clean, with lingering citrus and pine fading gradually into a grain-forward, bread-crust aftertaste. Bitterness recedes without harshness, leaving the palate refreshed rather than fatigued.

Serve at 8–11°C for the best flavour balance and aroma expression.

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.
