Symphonic Chronic Double West Coast is the newest member of the brewery's Symphonic Chronic line of 9 percent double IPAs and is sold in the IPA Variety Pack. It is hopped with Mosaic LupoMax, Strata, Simcoe, Chinook and Nugget, and the brewery presents it as its take on the classic West Coast IPA. Pine resin, citrus peel and grapefruit lead the aroma, joined by herbal, dank notes and a touch of tropical fruit. A light toasted malt sweetness sits underneath, and the finish is firmly bitter.
