Black Butte Porter presents a deep, opaque black color with rich mahogany highlights when held to light. A dense, tan head forms with excellent retention, revealing fine lacing down the glass. The carbonation is moderate and well-integrated, contributing to a creamy, inviting presentation.

The nose is dominated by roasted malt and dark chocolate aromatics with subtle coffee undertones. Gentle Cascade hop character adds a whisper of herbal complexity without overwhelming the darker notes. A faint smokiness rounds out the bouquet, inviting further exploration of this well-balanced porter.

The palate opens with rich roasted grain flavors that transition smoothly into cocoa and dark chocolate notes.
