Mid Tide is Burleigh's mid-strength ale at 3 per cent, named after the tide conditions that bring the best waves to the point at Burleigh. It is brewed from malted barley and natural hops and hopped with a light hand, aiming for fruit rather than bitterness. The beer is golden with a faint amber tint. Aromas of soft stone fruit, light citrus and fresh bread lead into a palate that feels fuller than its strength suggests, with a gentle biscuit malt note, subtle fruit and a crisp, clean finish.
