◎ Appearance

Honey-blonde hue with excellent clarity, crowned by a white, persistent head that clings to the glass with fine lacing. Bright carbonation is visible as a steady stream of fine bubbles, lending the beer a lively, animated presence in the glass.

◌ Aroma

The nose is dominated by fruity esters from the abbey yeast—stone fruit and subtle orchard notes—layered beneath a clean, noble hop character. A whisper of coriander and spice rounds the aromatic profile, with gentle honey undertones that complement the yeast complexity without overwhelming it.

◐ Taste

Entry is soft and approachable, with the honey and yeast character establishing body immediately. Mid-palate reveals a gentle, measured bitterness that balances the fruit and spice rather than asserting dominance, while the coriander adds a subtle herbal dimension. The full body carries weight without harshness, and the flavors remain even and composed throughout.

◑ Finish

A clean, moderately lingering finish with the bitterness fading gracefully into honey and yeast notes. Refreshing carbonation leaves the palate ready for the next sip.

Serve at 10–13°C in a goblet. The yeast character and carbonation are the stars — cold would suppress both.

The wide mouth and heavy base promote head formation and channel rich aromatics toward the nose. Traditional for Belgian strong ales.
