Neon Rainbows

Tap to rate

Neon Rainbows leads with tropical fruit, pineapple, mango and strawberry, with hints of melon behind them. The New England-style IPA is unfiltered and double dry-hopped with Mosaic, Simcoe, Citra and Topaz. It was the first beer Ommegang released from its own canning line in 2018, and the name nods to the rainbow of hop varieties in the recipe.

◐ Taste

Entry is soft and juicy, with the tropical fruit character translating smoothly to the palate—pineapple and mango lead, followed by subtle strawberry sweetness. Mid-palate develops a balanced, resinous hop bitterness that integrates seamlessly rather than asserting itself harshly; the 45 IBU sits comfortably beneath the fruit. The finish is dry without astringency, with lingering fruit notes and a light herbal quality.
