Red Kite
Red Kite has been in the range for over twenty years and has evolved along the way into what the brewery now calls a US-inspired amber. Palisade, Simcoe and Cascade hops go onto a base of lager malt with a little crystal and Munich malt. The brewery lists toffee, biscuit and roasted malt in the flavour and berry jam with a herbal note in the aroma: fresh in the hop, rich in the malt. Unfiltered, and also served from cask.
