Goldeneye

Tap to rate

One of the older beers in the range, still poured in the brewery's own bars and found in retail. It is built on pale ale, Munich, crystal and wheat malts, which give a full body and a rich gold colour. The brewery describes a first impression of moderate bitterness that settles into a clean finish, with fruity citrus notes of grapefruit and tangerine and a touch of marmalade sweetness. The name refers to the duck that nests in the Highlands.

Serve at 8–11°C

Serve well-chilled. Session IPAs are at their best cold — the lower ABV means less warmth to balance the hops.

Tulip glass

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.

Drink fresh. Session IPAs are brewed to be consumed young — the hops are at their best now.
