Jonkvrouw

Tap to rate

A special blonde with a little more alcohol, spicy and aromatic in character. It is brewed in the copper kettles of Mommeriete in Gramsbergen, where the hops come straight from the hop farmer and every beer gets a yeast chosen for its own character. The brewery has been at it since 2004 and recommends about 6 °C.

Mid-palate remains clean and well-defined, with the modest 15 IBU providing restrained bitterness that complements rather than overwhelms the delicate grain character. The body is smooth and approachable, finishing dry with lingering hop spice.
