Beers similar to Nessie
hopIQ found 10 beers that share Nessie's citrusy and piney character. The craft outlier in the range. Part of its wort still runs over the historic open copper vessel that gives the beer its subtitle. It stands copper red and hazy in the glass under a cream head. Grapefruit, mango and pine resin come first, peach and red berry behind them. The malt answers with caramel and a nutty sweetness like the edge of a cake. Bitterness builds slowly and stays balanced rather than sharp.
