The nose opens with rich roasted coffee and dark chocolate from the chocolate malt and roasted barley, followed by pronounced vanilla and subtle oak from twelve months in bourbon casks. Beneath these wood-driven notes lies a gentle bourbon warmth and a faint cocoa undertone. The intensity is substantial but balanced, avoiding harshness.

The palate entry is smooth and full-bodied, with creamy chocolate and coffee flavors that develop from the oat and malt bill. Mid-palate reveals layered bourbon wood character, vanilla, and a gentle oak spice that integrates seamlessly with the dark malt foundation. Bitterness is restrained at sixty IBU, providing structure without dominating the sweet, wood-driven character.
