The nose opens with intense roasted grain and dark chocolate, immediately anchored by deep coffee and cocoa notes. A subtle molasses sweetness and fermentation warmth underscore the aromatic profile, with the alcohol presence detectable but not intrusive. No hop character emerges; instead, the focus remains on the layered malt expression.

◐ Geschmack

Entry brings immediate roasted malt character and bitter cocoa, building into a full mid-palate of chocolate, caramel, and dark stone fruit. The 9.9% ABV creates a warming effect that supports rather than dominates the flavor structure. Bitterness arrives in the mid-to-finish range with a restrained 65 IBU, balancing the residual sweetness without overwhelming the malt-forward character.

The finish lingers with dry roasted notes and a gentle warming sensation that persists for several minutes. Residual chocolate and a faint coffee dryness mark the aftertaste, leaving the palate with a sense of completeness rather than sharpness.
