Deep brown to near-black in colour, presenting the characteristic darkness of a true Schwarzbier. The head is creamy and persistent, with fine bubbles that cling to the glass walls. The beer shows good clarity despite its depth of colour, with bright edges revealing the true extent of its dark malt character.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with gentle roasted grain and dark bread crust, underpinned by subtle cocoa and coffee notes that emerge with each inhalation. Selected Edelhopfen varieties contribute a restrained floral and herbal undertone that balances the roasted malt foundation without overwhelming it. The overall impression is warm and inviting, with no harsh or burnt character.

◐ Geschmack

The palate enters smooth and full-bodied, with the roasted character playing a supporting role rather than dominating. A gentle caramel sweetness provides brief mid-palate richness, while selected hops maintain subtle balance with a soft, dry quality. The finish remains clean and dry without harsh bitterness, allowing the malt complexity to resolve gracefully.

The aftertaste is dry and moderately persistent, with residual roasted grain notes fading to a clean palate. Bitterness remains restrained throughout, leaving no sharp edges or astringency.
