Rocky Ridge Cali IPA presents a burnt gold hue with a light hop haze that softens the clarity without obscuring the body. The creamy white head displays solid retention and forms defined lacing as the beer settles. Carbonation appears moderate, creating fine, persistent bubbles throughout the glass.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with bright lime zest and sticky tropical stone fruits—pineapple and mango—layered with musky candy sweetness and green grass notes. As it opens, papaya, rambutan, and guava emerge alongside a subtle dank herbaceousness. Delicate malt sweetness grounds the aromatic profile without dominating the clean, hop-forward character.

The palate enters lean and crisp, with tropical fruit flavors mirroring the aroma—citrus and stone fruit forward. The mid-palate remains clean and dry, allowing grassy and dank hop character to develop without harsh bitterness. At 55 IBU, bitterness is restrained and balanced, contributing structure rather than dominating the finish.

The finish is clean and quick-fading, leaving a light grassy herbaceousness and a whisper of citrus zest. The low ABV (5.8%) allows the beer to refresh the palate without warming sensations, making the aftertaste crisp rather than lingering.
