Patternist presents a pale golden hue with bright clarity and excellent light transmission. A firm, persistent head forms and clings to the glass with fine lacing. Carbonation is lively and well-integrated, lending visual vibrancy to the pour.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with ripe mango and pineapple from El Dorado and Simcoe, supported by a distinctive jelly-tot sweetness that recalls boiled sweets. Beneath the tropical fruit sits a resinous pine backbone—herbaceous, woodsy—that grounds the composition and prevents the bouquet from becoming cloying. The overall impression is focused and direct rather than layered.

◐ Geschmack

Entry is clean and crisp, with tropical fruit flavors mirroring the nose. The mid-palate develops a pronounced piney, resinous character that anchors the sweetness and provides structural tension. Bitterness emerges evenly across the palate—assertive but not harsh—and cuts through without overwhelming the fruit. The 6.6% ABV keeps the beer approachable despite the vigorous hopping schedule.

◑ Abgang

The finish is dry and lingering, with resinous pine notes persisting on the aftertaste. Sweetness fades quickly in favor of a crisp, herbaceous drydown that invites another sip.

Gut gekühlt servieren. Session IPAs sind am besten kalt — der niedrigere Alkohol bedeutet weniger Wärme zur Balance der Hopfen.

Die geschwungene Form konzentriert Hopfenaromen und hält den Schaum. Unverzichtbar für aromatische Ales und IPAs, bei denen die Nase die halbe Erfahrung ist.
