🌍 Australia · IPA · One of 93 IPAs in hopIQ

Rocky Ridge Cali IPA is the result of years of IPA experiments, landing somewhere cleaner than a West Coast IPA and crisper than a lager. It pours burnt gold with a light hop haze and a creamy white head. Aromas of lime zest, sticky pineapple, mango, musk lollies and cut grass lead into papaya, rambutan and guava with a touch of dank green grass and light malt sweetness. Lean, clean and built for year-round drinking at 5.8% ABV.

Aroma

The nose leads with bright lime zest and sticky tropical stone fruits—pineapple and mango—layered with musky candy sweetness and green grass notes. As it opens, papaya, rambutan, and guava emerge alongside a subtle dank herbaceousness. Delicate malt sweetness grounds the aromatic profile without dominating the clean, hop-forward character.

Taste

The palate enters lean and crisp, with tropical fruit flavors mirroring the aroma—citrus and stone fruit forward. The mid-palate remains clean and dry, allowing grassy and dank hop character to develop without harsh bitterness. At 55 IBU, bitterness is restrained and balanced, contributing structure rather than dominating the finish.

Serve & Enjoy

How to get the most out of Rocky Ridge Cali IPA

Serve at 8–11°C
Refrigerate, then rest 2 min

Serve well-chilled. Session IPAs are at their best cold — the lower ABV means less warmth to balance the hops.

Tulip glass
Recommended for this style

The curved shape concentrates hop aromas and supports a thick head. Essential for aromatic ales and IPAs where the nose is half the experience.

Drink fresh. Session IPAs are brewed to be consumed young — the hops are at their best now.
