Deep mahogany brown with excellent clarity and a tight, persistent head. When served on nitrogen, a creamy collar of foam clings to the glass with fine lacing. The color sits at the darker end of the mild spectrum, suggesting generous use of chocolate and crystal malts.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with roasted caramel and milk chocolate, followed by subtle coffee notes and a gentle nuttiness. Herbal Fuggles and Goldings hops add a soft, earthy character without asserting themselves. A hint of toffee sweetness rounds out the aromatic profile, inviting the palate.

Entry is smooth and lightly sweet, with flavors of roasted malt and hazelnut dominating the mid-palate. Low bitterness from the Fuggles and Goldings sits back gracefully, allowing the malt character to express itself fully.
