Hidden Hand presents as a dark reddish-brown lager, nearly opaque in the glass under tungsten light. A creamy tan head forms generously and clings to the sides with fine lacing. The body carries moderate carbonation befitting the style, with a smooth, settled character.

◌ Aroma

The nose leads with roasted malt character—burnt toast and dark bread dominate, underpinned by cocoa and a subtle coffee note. Brown sugar and dark cherry provide a touch of sweetness and fruit behind the roast. Earthy hop presence and a whisper of black pepper complete the bouquet without overwhelming the malt-forward profile.

Entry is smooth and lightly malty, with roasted grain and burnt toast taking the foreground. The mid-palate shows restrained brown sugar sweetness balanced by earthy hop character and black pepper spice. Bitterness builds gradually and remains mild at 30 IBU, finishing dry and clean without harshness.
