Doomtown presents a clear, bright gold to light amber hue, characteristic of a well-executed West Coast IPA. The beer pours with a white head that demonstrates solid retention and lacing on the glass. Carbonation is crisp and visible, contributing to the beer's clean, inviting presentation.

◌ Aroma

The nose opens with floral and perfumed notes, displaying grapefruit, peach, and passion fruit from noble hop varieties. A leafy, herbal character underpins the citrus, grounding the bouquet in classic West Coast tradition. The aromatic profile is clean and precise, with minimal malt contribution, allowing the dry-hopped character to dominate.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens bright and crisp, with pineapple and lemon notes providing immediate citrus clarity. A subtle caramel sweetness from the pale malz base emerges mid-palate, offering brief balance before a pronounced resinous bitterness takes hold. The finish is distinctly dry, with lingering hop oils and no residual sweetness.

The bitterness extends cleanly through the finish, leaving a dry and slightly piney aftertaste. The finish length is moderate to long, with the resinous character persisting without becoming astringent.
