Pale straw yellow with a distinctly hazy, cloudy appearance characteristic of the witbier style. A thick, creamy white head forms readily and clings to the glass with fine lacing. The haziness comes from suspended yeast and wheat proteins, creating an inviting, rustic visual presence.

◌ Aroma

Bright citrus notes lead the nose, with distinct orange and lemon peel character supported by subtle coriander and a gentle spice reminiscent of grains of paradise. Underneath lies a soft, grainy wheat maltiness with delicate herbal undertones. A touch of phenolic spice from the yeast adds complexity without dominating.

◐ Geschmack

The palate opens bright and refreshing, with the wheat and citrus working in tandem to create an immediate sense of lightness. Mid-palate brings subtle coriander warmth and a gentle peppery spice that lingers softly. Bitterness remains restrained at 15 IBU, allowing the herbal and citrus character to shine without astringency.

◑ Abgang

The finish is crisp and dry, with peppery spice and a faint herbal quality persisting briefly on the palate. The aftertaste remains clean and refreshing, fading to a subtle grain note.

Kalt servieren, um die zarten Zitrus- und Gewürzaromen zu erhalten. Zu warm werden die Hefe-Ester schwer — zu kalt verschwindet der Koriander.

Das hohe, schlanke Weizenglas fasst die volle 50cl-Portion und zeigt die trüb-goldene Farbe. Das breite Mundstück lässt Zitrus- und Gewürzaromen frei aufsteigen.
